im 13 and is it too late for me to start tennis and learn quick, try outs are on febuary the 18th and i just know i can make the tennis team but ive never hed experience im scared!

Answer by Rosie B Well I spose you are not born great at everything. But most tennis players do have a certain knack for it. You could probably try out, just tell them you have not played tennis before but you are willing to learn. They should be okay with that. All of the great tennis players had to start somewhere

Answer by ibwangingguts00 a cheaper way is to go to your nearest tennis court and practice on the giant wall they should have there. There is a line across the middle and start hitting the ball above that line to practice. once you start getting better play against someone.

so….I’ve decided to learn to play tennis..and joined a coaching center….as it is summer vacation..I don’t have any problem…but I’m not sure If I can manage to play tennis there once the school starts…..I have to directly go to tennis after the school at 4:00 without going home…and play there till 5:30…and it will takes around one hour to reach home….I’m really interested in playing….but I don’t want affect my studies as well….I’m an excellent student…so I’m worried if can manage to study as well…I’ve already spent a lot of money on everything required for tennis….what should I do??….should I just concentrate on studies??

Answer by Miked You should still have plenty of time left for studies. Use the hour traveling between 5:30 and 6:30pm to do readying, and knock out your other homework right after dinner. If you cannot juggle tennis and studies, then you would never be able to handle other sports like Football, Basketball, Baseball, track and cross country, as they require more practice time than tennis, as a rule of thumb.

Answer by Jeff ==(##) o The biggest problem for youth is to concentrate. I know my boy spends on average two hours manga and two hours fb and two hours texting, leaving 30 minutes before bed time for home work. If you were like him, giving two hours to tennis is probably a good thing.

Answer by Ellie You can start playing whenever you like and i think you can still get beginner lessons when you are 15 but just to make sure it’s better to ask the people at a tennis club that you would like to go to, to get the information you need. i used to play tennis to i played for 3 years.
